It is with both joy and sorrow that we announce a change in leadership within the Office of Juvenile Justice. The OJJ Director and our Statewide Juvenile Justice Specialist, Vazaskia Crockrell, has accepted a position with the King County Council as their Director of Social Justice and Equity. August 23rd is her last day as the OJJ Director. We will miss her deeply but rest in knowing that she is not far away and will continue to fight beside us to achieve the best for our youth. Please take a moment to explore the picture to the left and the following two pictures in the real, which represent a small chronicle of the depth and breadth of her impact.
